After clicking Edit button, then i need to open new work object to do my work and need to close old work object tab (something like hold that Work Object) , after complete work in new work object ,again need to open old work object tab automatically

Hello,
I don't think we have such mechanism Out-Of-The-Box. It sounds a bit over complex, why do you really need to close and reopen the old WorkObject tab. Is it not possible to just have two different tabs open with those two WorkObject

We dont have this feature OOTB but we can try work around to achieve this.
When click on the work object, call an activity which creates the new work object and saves the reference of the old work object in it.

When click on the work object, call an activity which creates the new work object and saves the reference of the old work object in it.
Then call close UI event to close the old work object and then call openWorkByHandle js api to open the new work obj.
When processing in completed in the new work object, you can use the reference of the old work ojbect to launch it
