Multiple Pega applications as separate deployments in Application Server
Hi,
Greetings. One of the clients have multiple pega applications deployed as separate instances in application servers, this might or might not be the recommended approach but i need to know experts opinion on the same. What are the pros and cons of having multiple applications deployed as separate applications in application server compared to have built these applications on a single instance of Pega but using Built in applications feature if at all there is an application dependency.

Please explain the provenance of the applications and whether they are built as per current best practice for enterprise application. It is possible to build applications using an enterprise model and deploy them separately on differing application server instances.

Greetings.Thanks for the response. I need to know the pros and cons of having these applications deployed on different application server instances compared to using multiple built-on applications? Consider there are three applications AppA, AppB, AppC each deploying on its own JVM even though AppC is dependent on AppB (as-is they use the base build of AppA in a new JVM and implement AppC, which i believe is not the best practice) but i wanted a suggestion or opinion on this as-is approach.
They are built as per best practices for enterprise solution but i am not completely sure whether approach of deploying each application in its own JVM is best practice or not.
