Creating cases have nothing to do with threads. "Parallel" in case type, used is funtional terminology not technical. Technically, they'll be sequential. It doesn't matter if cases are created sequentially. Who wants to have the cases created at the same time? Is that the requirement? If yes, it's absurd. I don't know why someone would come up with this kind of requirement. If they want same timestamp on three cases, just update pxCreateDateTime with same date time.

The question is not about creating 3 cases in parallel.

The question is how to run 3 flows in parallel - each flow a different step in a Stage, each step configured to start on Stage entry.

To run in parallel each step would need to be queued.

A short Timer wait shape could do this or Queue-for-Agent if you configure the Agent Activity with the name of the flow was queued from.

If queueing, however, each flow may need to await 30 seconds for the Agent to pick up the Queued record.

Also the case would have to be configured to use Optimistic Locking.

Thanks Lee, this is one option we are considering. However queueing will add unnecessary delay in the processing.

The main reason for parallel processing is to reduce the time taken for processing, which will be defeated if we use queueing.

Is it Possible to start the stage in parallel, We have requirement as below,

we have Account Opening stage and product set up stage, when case enters account opening stage, then it should start product set up stage. At case type level, there is no configurable option.

Please let me know if any possible solution are available.

Amanullah what it looks like you need would be a sub case to setup the product. Yould could easily do that at the first flow in the Account Opening stage. If you needed to wait to continue to the next flow or stage you could add the wait shape to make sure all child cases have completed.
