Multi threading in Pega
Hi All, We have a requirement to achieve multi threading(queue instruction) for one of our tool. Wanted to know
1.What are all the ways in Pega we can achieve pure multi threading?
2.Which is the most recommended approach?
3.How can we ensure that the memory & the processing power is used optimally, when implementing multi threading?
Idea is to achieve completion of huge processing in less time without crashing the system.

Below I have clarified your queries.
1. What are you trying to accomplish?
We are doing Revalidate and save of rules in bulk manner.
2.Why is multi threading needed to accomplish this?
Multi threading is required reduce time taken to execute the process. Average 50000 rules will be executed during this process.
3.How do you expect to distribute the processing among the separate threads?
We are accessing DSS for threadpool and based on no of threads available we are distributing rules among the threads.
4.What kind of reconcilement is necessary among running threads (either during processing or at the end)?
Need more clarity.
5.What bottlenecks do you expect to encounter (DB, memory, CPU)?
Expecting memory issue.
