Modified record in Data Type is not commiting the data
Hi,
I have created a data type in Pega and mapped it to external table and inserted data in External table in oracle DB. As per my knowledge, i should be able to modify data in data type. But when i tried to modify data its not committed and also not showing any error.
Can anyone please help me on this.

When I update a data type record in my 7.2.1 system, I see the pxUpdateRecordInner activity execute and the commit occurs at step 20. What do you see in your trace? What is the value of param.Commit in your trace?

Hi Carissa,
In step 20 Param.commit="true". but after merger commit when i refreshed the data type its not showing the data which is committed and also not updating in the external table which is mapped to internal table.
I tried to commit the data using activity by writing obj-open, property-set, obj-save and commit steps. Then its getting committed in both pega data type and also in external table which is mapped.
I checked tracer in both scenarios.
When i edit data type manually, execute batch event is not happening after add batch event in step 20 of pxUpdateRecordInner activity.Please find the attachment. Where as i see this event when i commit the data through activity.
Note: i have written declare trigger when ever the data is committed and standard agent is being called in trigger activity.

How your accessing datatype properties ,is it with datapage or from the class definition directly .
If it’s datapage what’s the dataaccess you have used .
