Modifying Data Type property value after records import.
Hi everyone, I'm kinda new to Pega 7.2 so any help is greatly appreciated.
I wanted to apply something similar to the "Edit Input" modification on a Data Type property, where it changes the value shown in the record depending on the value of a column. It has to be automatically done as soon as the data is imported from a CSV. I've been searching for a way to do this without using an activity with no success, since "Edit Input" was the first solution that came to my mind but it only does it after an HTTP Request.
Another approach I tried was creating a "pyDefault" Data Transform for the data class I'm using, so that after I import the CSV it would automatically use it as soon as the class is instantiated... but it didn't worked in that way, so I'm not sure if there's a better approach I should take to this or if I did something wrong with implementing this solution.

I was importing it directly in the Data Type records with the "import" button that it has because this was an isolated test, but the .csv is gonna come from a connector.
I actually found a way to do it, and that was by creating a Data Transform in the pyPostCSVUpload in the class that I want to modify, and adding another Data Transform with the same name in the @baseclass that just leaves a comment, that way I could modify the values before loading them.

I guess this line holds the key in your requirement
"It has to be automatically done as soon as the data is imported from a CSV."
So you need to store the data temporarily in some placeholder once it reads and extracts the data from CSV
Then process it as per your need and post that store it in your data property.
Can you please explain first how you are retrieving the data from CSV ?
