Data Type: Records Export option clarification

Hi

I have a question on Data Type export to option. Using Pega 717 version

Below are the steps:

1. Go to Data Type

2. Select a class and try to open the data table/ data type

3. Go to  Records tab.

4. Make sure you have 500+ records in the table.(Pagination option should be available)

5. Now use export option and try to open the CSV.

Issue: This exports only the first page records only. If we have export to excel/csv option we should export all the records not just the first page. Is this a product bug or by design it works like this. I feel there is no point in exporting records page by page. Please share your thoughts. Based on your feedback will decide to raise a Pega SR.

to get all the results on click of export please

  • set .pyMaxRecords to zero on page 'pyReportParamPageName' page parameter before calling Call Rule-Obj-Report-Definition.pxRetrieveReportData in OOTB 'RULE-OBJ-ACTIVITY PEGAACCEL-TASK-DATATABLEEDITOR PZDOWNLOADDATARECORDSASCSV' in private checkout and share your observations.

fyi - the activity is enhanced in Pega 7.1.8
