Export delegated data type (7.2)

Hi,

I need a small clarification on how to export a delegated Data type to Excel ( In Pega 7.2).

I have delegated a Data type (Old Data table) to an Access Group. When I edit it in the user portal I can not see the Export to Excel . By checking the rule "PzManageRecords" (Section in Pega-Desktop:07-10-23) i can see that "Export button" is visible only when for the Express Mode.

Q: Is it possible to export to excel a delegated data type or not ?

This seems to have been fixed in Pega 7.2.1. Apply HFix-23911 to fix this in Pega 7.1.8. Please let us know if you are still seeking assistance.

  • export & import of records via excel in a delegated data type might be a future enhancement (also please double check the behavior on ie browser). will wait for community comments. thank you.

I have tested in several Browser still the same , there should be a Hot fix for that i believe..i will rise an SR and let's see.

Thank you for providing the SR number here. I have tagged it to your post above - under the Related Work field.

I also noticed that while opening the SR you have not mentioned this post. I have added an internal note on the SR stating this URL so that the Engineer handling the case can troubleshoot better!

For data type delegation Import/Export functionality can be achieved by setting below condition:

Set the below property in a Pre DT of loading of Screen.

Declare_pyDisplay.pyIsExpressModeEnabled = true

Now the Import/Export link functionality will appear.
