is it possible to create child case from flow action or local action.
Hi Guys,
We have a requirement where user will create child case using one of the flow action from the actions menu item.
The child case have one stage and one screen and it will be completed by the user who ever initiated. Once child is resolved I need to come back to the parent screen.
This flow action will be case level, user can create child case on demand at any point of time during the case.
Business idea is to Provide flow action or Local action in action menu which allows to create case. other alternatives also be helpful.

In the case type rule of the parent, you can check the 'Manual Instantiation' option for the child case type. This will add an item in the Actions menu for the user to add work and create the child case.

The requirement seems to be AdHoc case creation. You can explore OOTB Adhoc case option to achieve your requirement. You can check this option in My Cases section where user can created adhoc case using Quick Create option. Also check underline activity pyCreateQuickCase.
