Issue in setting up email account in Personal Edition
Hi Folks,
I'm trying to configure email account with GMAIL , in my PE , connected from my personal computer . Initially I was unable to get success on Test Conn. After disabling the DSS - DisableSecuritySTARTTLS , Test connectivity was success . But when I try to send an email through application or standalone activities , I'm getting the below exception
| Caught unhandled exception : Unable to send email due to : 530 5.7.0 Must issue a STARTTLS command first. w9sm11369440pfq.178 - gsmtp |
I have seen many articles to change the port to 465,25 , enable SMTPS . I tried all , but couldn't succeed . Please refer the error attachment .
Any leads on this would be much appreciated

Try setting the below DSS to false.
Owning Ruleset: Pega-IntSvcs Setting Purpose: Email/DisableSecuritySTARTTLS

No that doesn't work. I have already tried setting this DSS . Connectivity will be success once you set this to true. But when the actual mail is sent , exception is getting popped up
