Interrogating PEGA Application using Pega Robotics/ OpenSpan.
How different are PEGA applications from other web applications w.r.t Interrogation.
When i tried to interrogate labels and text on a PEGA app form, i'm unable to get exact matching rules. [Unable to use F12- developer tools option on the fields].
Not sure, If i'm missing anything.
But in general, are they different from other web applications ?

You have to use robot manager for the pega site.

For my case, I just need PEGA app form fields in one page.
It is not a PEGA case usage requirement. How to just interrogate those fields properly ?

Developer Tools in Internet Explorer does not load the full hierarchy due to the depth of the element in the document. I have had success with exploring the elements with Chrome's Developer Tools (just for debugging purposes) and then applying that knowledge to Pega Robotics Studio's match rules.
In general, this web application is no different than any other.

There are not much attributes available in the PEGA application i'm trying to interrogate. I have used Chrome developer tools to identify the attributes.
I'm trying to use Element index attribute, but it is not consistent.
Can we use the concept of control regions here ? If yes, Can you guide how.

I heard that from PEGA 7.3 version we can utilise Test IDs to identify fields on PEGA web form.
How to do it in lower versions.

Control Regions usually does not work well with web controls. I would say this is an unreliable path to try to use.
