Interaction Type is always coming as "Email" in CPM Framework

Hi All,

Has anyone faced this problem before when even though a person starts a "phone" interaction in CPM framework , the Interaction type always comes as "Email"?

When debugging, I found all OOTB code, where the interaction Type is getting set . can you please help what am I missing here? Is it a bug in Pega code?

I checked my 8.3 system. When I select New > Phone Call, the InteractionType is set to "phone" in the PegaCA-Work-Interaction-Call.pyDefault Data Transform. What rule is executing in your system when you see it set to Email?
