Elastic Search for CPM framework

Hi All, My application is PEGA 7.1.7, Here we are using CPM, CPMFS, SCM & FSIF framework's. for elastic search we have used CPMSearch section belongs to ruleset(CPM-Portal). Using this section we are able to searching the 90 days( 3 months) WO. Is there any restriction for elastic search for this CPM-Portal rules ? Can we search more than 3 months WO's through elastic search ? If i use pyCaseManger7 rules we are able to searching the more than 90 days WO. How long records can we search using pyCaseManger7 rules ? Any default period is there for searching the WO ? Thanks & Regards, Rama Krishna

Hi

Yes, you can search more than 90 days WO using elastic search.

If you just want to know where to configure the number of days, you can change '.pzWorkLastUpdated' property it in the second step of 'CPMSetSearchWorkParams' activity. refer to the image attached.

Hi, Thank you very much for the response. I want to set the .pzWorkLastUpdated property value to the 730(2 years) or 1095(3 years). Can i set ? Any performance issue will get ? please let me know recommended way. Thanks & Regards, Rama Krishna

Hi, I have update the value from 90 days to 200 days, Now we are able to searcing the 365 days(1 year) WO. please confirm why is this fetching the more than 200 days WO's ? and please confirm which kind of performance issue's will face ? Thanks & Regads, Rama Krishna

Hi Ramakrishna,

If the work object is updated recently, within those 200 days, then it will be fetched.

We sort the WOs based upon last updated date. 

Reg performance issues, the search might take a long time if more records are present. If you have less WO's in that time frame, then I don't think there would be any other issues. 

You should configure these based upon application's requirement.
