Infinite Passed Deadline SLA does not trigger - 7.1.7
We have requirement to trigger past deadline infinite times until work object is resolved. Configured below with no limit as we do, but past deadline never triggers? Any idea why past deadline does not trigger?
(Note: It works with limits)

You have to set a maximum number of late attempts.
The code in step 2 of the System-Queue-ServiceLevel.ProcessEvent activity checks the value.

This means, "Limit passed deadline events to" field is mandatory for passed deadline iteration and no way we could trigger it infinitely.
Pega Academy scribe may need correction:
"In the Limit passed deadline events to field, enter the number of passed deadline events to apply to the assignment. To apply the passed deadline behavior indefinitely until the assignment is completed, leave the field empty."

Could you please confirm that we got to set ""Limit passed deadline events to" to something and keep this SLA triggering and cannot be left blank?
OR am i missing something OR is it known issue in 7.1.7?

I am not aware of a way to set the value from a property or DSS within the SLA rule form. You could possibly modify those values in an activity. This Help document has some information on changing and recalculating SLA values.
