How to trigger email notification when a file listener generates .err file
Hi,
Requirement is to trigger a email notification to a certain DL when a file listener generates .err extension file.
please let me know how to achieve this.

Hi @BhanuPrakash_G, Thank you for your response. I checked the Log-Service-File instances and I do not find any field w.r.t which we can say that an error file has been generated for a particular file. please let me know if you have any hint on this to proceed further.

In the Error tab of the file listener rule, select attempt recovery and give the number of attempts and in the clean section select Rename file operation with err file extension.
In the Process tab of the file listener rule, there is a section called Idle Processing where you can define an activity to run. Write a logic in the activity to use D_pxListFiles and search for .err file and then you can use SendEmailNotification activity to send the notifications.
