How to Rotate Pega CTI log file on a Daily basis ?
What is the default pega cti log rotation setting ?
Currently pega is generating a new file on every restart. So i want to change this by generating the file on a daily basis like other files.
It can be done by adding some code in prlogging.xml file and aslo from the designer studio.
1. What is the exact code which i need to add in the prlogging.xml ? i see many codes in pdn
2.Pega mentioned in the below document we can change it from designer studio. But for some reason i am not getting that option. Any help on this 2 questions would be highly appriciated.

While Gunas solution will work there is a chance you might get duplicate logs, I believe the logging for cti now should be done in the cti link engine as per the document under the section:
Appendix: Developer and Debugging Tools
To access go to designer studio ->Channel Services->PegaCALL->Tools and Settings go to the logging tab and select logging settings.
The appender you want to use is described on page 123 further down in the document or search for DailySizeRollingFileAppenderPega

Are you sure you have the right version of PegaCall as per the document you linked? Older versions required you to modify the prlogging.xml and add an entry for the cti as per Gunas post above he has given you two option one is a fixed daily log file roll i.e. it will change every day the other is based on the size of the log file. Just add the entry you required into your prlogging.xml and change any path values to reflect your system.
