How to load .CSV and .DAT files to Pega Database using Shell Scripting
Hello Everyone,
I would like to inquire this one requirement that I currently need to solve. I have attached the diagram for easy reference. I need to load .CSV and .DAT files to PEGA database and that the proposed solution for this is using shell scripting which is unfamiliar to me. We have to delete all and insert all the data to PEGA datase.
I am new to PEGA so can you please explain the approach in a simple manner. We are currently using PEGA 7.2.2.

Hi,
Go to Data Table > Records > Actions > Import or you can use file listener to import the data, if it is not one time process to load the data.

What is the business requirement here ? What are you planning to achieve by importing the files ?
Is it mere data importing or you want to perform something else ?

So I guess you are planning to import data to your data schema .
And, if you have to use script for it, then you have to anyway do it outside PEGA.
I would suggest you to do some research over net to see how you can run a shell script to import .dat or .csv to database ?
