Unable to properly upload .csv file
I have a problem uploading the .csv file (service provider list) for the exercise: configuring reference data. First of all, it says that the source CSV file has 1 instead of 17 fields. Also, it does not match existing records automatically. There is no way to move on, although I have tried to match with existing records. My colleague downloaded the exact same .csv, and imported it the same way, and it does work for her.
Is this a problem related to my computer settings?

When importing the CSV you need to make sure that the fields you are creating match the name and order in which they are listed in the file. I am assuming that there is a misnamed field or the order of the properties is different.
If you could provide screenshots of your properties I would be happy to investigate your issue,

Hello,
I have the same error message. I checked each field and it has the exact same name.
Please, see the attached screenshots.
Thanks in advance.

I think I know what's causing the issue. I think it's locale settings, which are causing the comma separators to be processed as decimal separators rather than column separators. ValentineP and MohammedS7879 - you both appear to be outside the US, and I think that's the root cause.
Unfortunately, the application only provides CSV as an output and input option. We can look in to workarounds. The issue won't affect you in future exercises, as the later exercise environments have the data imported.

I am also facing a same issue. Please help

Unfortunately, I think that the issue is due to how the commas are processed on your system - I'm assuming that your locale settings are using commas as decimal separators, rather than column separators.
The problem is that the import facility only supports CSV files, so there's no good work-around path if the commas are the root cause.

Hi Teixs,
Am also facing the same issue, could you let me know how i can configure or change the local setting , so that it starts using commas as column separators.

One possible approach, which appears to be working for other folks, is to open the CSV file in a text editor (not Excel), replacing the commas with semi-colons, and then uploading the edited version of the file.

Hi TEIXS,
Thanks for figuring out the issue. I'm also facing the same problem. Is there any way to change the locale setting you're talking about?
I'd love to know since, even if it won't be a problem in the other exercises, I can see it becoming a problem when actually using the standard (non-exercise) environment to import .csv files.
