How to install Java Work Load Manager (WLM) for Pega UDFs on DB2+z/OS
Hi,
Can anyone please post instructions from Pega for setting up WLM for using Pega UDFs on DB2 z/OS? Our system admin team is not able to set up that properly. I couldn't find any detailed instructions on PDN or in Pega installation document.
PRPC version: 7.1.6
DB2 version: 10

What exactly isn't set up properly, WLM or the UDFs themselves? What is the current issue?

I believe the information there should apply to Pega 7.1.6.

This is a first time installation of UDFs. The installation instructions document mentions that we need to set up a dedicated WLM for use by UDFs and update DB2SiteDependent.properties file with the name of this WLM. And use it to generate DDL for UDFs using generateUDF.bat;
In this process, I need know how exactly to setup this dedicated WLM environment for UDFs.

I believe that (setting up WLM) is the job of zos system engineer with detailed docs from IBM. I am quite certain that AIG has many sites with UDF deployed. One of your internal groups should be able to help you.

The zOS system engineer that I am working with needs to know what kind of WLM does Pega require, Java WLM or regular WLM? If you have instructions for setting up this WLM, please share. Or if you can point me to the correct documentation on IBM resources that'd be helpful too. Thanks!
