How to get next case ID in Pega 8.3

Hi,

currently in 7.4 I'm using Data-UniqueID class and pyLastReservedID to check the next case ID number but in Pega 8.3 I used the same to reset or update the pyLastReservedID when I created the case it's not updating from the new value, case ID is generating still from old Id.

There are few architectural changes in the concept of case id generation for high performance.

Try setting the DSS mentioned in below article to 1 and test the behavior.
