How to expose a Service SOAP with Digital Signature based authentication and encrypting the incoming message request ?
Hi team,
We do have a requirement of exposing a webservice to an external system. We need to allow our service to be accessed using Digital Signature and timestamp based authentication and encrypt the message body. Both inward and outward data. Please let me know the pre-requisites (Like SSL certificate etc) and steps to configure the webservice.

Hi,
Please follow the below steps
1. Get the trusted certificate from authorized parties
2. Import the certificate into websphere certificates
3. In Soap service rule enable ws security in Advanced tab
4 . And configure the security profile

Dear Yapas,
Thank you for the steps. Could you please help provide some more details?
I have used, Signature, Encryption, Timestamp as part of the Out Flow
and used, Signature, Decryption and Timestamp as part of the In Flow and Imported the Keystore and Truststore.
But when I generate the WSDL, I'm not seeing anything related to security added to the WSDL, like <wsse:Security> ? Could you please advise ?

Hi,
It depends on the pega version could you please share the version ? After configuring SOAP service are able to consume without the security from SOAP UI.
Please test once in SOAP UI and let us know the status.
