Authenticating incoming requests to REST service with an external id

Hi,

I have a requirement where I need to authenticate incoming requests to a PEGA REST service with an external id and password.

There is authentication in Service package. But it expects the Pega 7 Platform operator ID and password.

Can someone help me with this?
