How to step up to certificate based authentication in a SOAP service?
Can anyone please explain what needs to be done if we want to secure our SOAP service by implementing Certificates/KeyStore.

Hi Ankan
Have you checked this article : https://pdn.pega.com/securing-rest-and-soap-connectors-best-practices
Hi Santanu,
Thanks for your reply. But, I want to know about services and not connectors. Could you please guide me towards implementing a secure SOAP service using keystore.
Thanks,
Ankan
Hi Ankan,
We can create the SOAP service via the service wizard, then please traverse to the SOAP-Service rule -> Advanced Tab
There we need to enable the WS-Security and have an Security profile created for that.
In the Securtiy profile we can upload the Keystore along with the certificate.
Below is the link that would help you out to create the WS-Security Profile:

Thanks Aditya, I will explore the path you suggested.
