Using LDAP Authentication for Service SOAP
I am looking for some documentation on how to implement LDAP authentication for a service soap. i have create a authentication service definition and was abl;e to connect to LDAP successfully, but struggling to find out the right DN and search filter to give in the auth service definition. How should the clients pass the LDAP ID and password in the service call ? Where should be that parsed in the authentication profile.
Any info/examples can be helpful.

I am not sure about the documented steps, however if you check for 'required authentication' on Service package rule that you are using for Service-SOAP, then you have to associate an access group to that service package. The operators that belong to that access group can have 'external authentication' checked so that when you pass authentication details of that operator it should look in the prcustom authentication that you have used i.e. to do with LDAP look up as you want to implement same type of authentication.
