How do I restore purged cases?

After cases have been purged what is the process of restoring them back if necessary?

Restore option is not supported as the application might change over the years and platform may change and it is not possible to restore the old archived case into Pega database.

The best approach is create a new case and attach the archived case PDF as reference.

The other option is as all the work xmls are still available you can write the customer activity to restore the case data.
