How can we use OOTB way to count work objects in production for usage purpose?
Hi All- we have requirement to count the cases per year in for all the application, some applications are using case management as well.
Do we have any PEGA OOTB way to get the distinct count of all the cases and present in charts and bars?
currently we are using in house code which is hard modify in production. Any suggestion is highly appreciated.
(As per my understanding creating a report to get the distinct pyID count is not the best idea)

Hello,
What do you mean by "cases per year" ? Created cases for the year, resolved cases for the year. I guess reporting on your "WORK" table based on pxCreateDateTime might be an approach.

Creating your own report is a good idea. Why do you feel this is not a good idea. Giving everything OOTB would be not the preferred way as it is kind of custom requirement and if it is OOTB it will be shipped for all the customer. This will make more no. of rules and decreased performance.

Yes, CASE created per year/month and the concern is there are more than one PYID (value) in the work tables. also we have to build something which can be run forall the divisions without any extra trainings.
Also I was thinking PEGA might have something OOTB to do case count for license purpose?
