How can we use OOTB way to get the rule count
Hi Gurus,
please shed the light if you know How can we use OOTB way to get rule count?
we have Jenkins to export product from DEV and import to QA, and wonder if there is existing REST service/piece of coding that allow us to get a rule count of the export from DEV and compare with rule count AFTER the import to QA.

As per my awareness there are no OOTB rules in order to compare the number of rules that were exported from source environment and the number of rules that were imported into the target environment.
Generally, after the import process to make sure that your functionalities were not broken you an follow the below suggestions:
- You should be maintaining few automation test cases to ensure that the application is working properly after the import process.
- If you don't have automation test cases, then you have to do manual testing to ensure that your functionality is not broken due to the import.
- Also the import process will give you the statistics about the number of rules imported, skipped and failed to import. These statistics are always available in the database.
- For every import process an instance of Log-PegaRULESMove will be created in the target environment which contains the above import statistics. Similarly an instance of Log-PegaRULESMove will be created in the source environment during the export process with the export statistics in it. With the help of both these instances you can cross check the source and target environments for rules comparison.
Note: You can also find these statistics in the Jenkins log file, for example as follows:
