how can I configure the position of overlay to the right pane of the screen?
My requirement is to place the overlay to the right of the screen, the existing screen srinks, and I get the overlay to the right of the screen. This way user can view the current content of the application as well as the overlay at the right side side of the screen.

You can do this by creating a format for the overlay in the skin with the position attribute added in the additional styles.
