How to access a value between multiple threads?
Hello guys,
Here I am with another interesting question. I wonder how can we access or pass the value of a parameter among multiple threads running in the prpc system.
Any explanation starting from defining a thread in the context of PRPC will be much appreciated.

set D_Access.ProductName (requester editable page)
- define D_Access in pages & classes
- define D_Access in pages & classes
- want to copy ProductName of W-1 to W-2
- refer data page as set SelectedProduct --> D_Access.ProductName

Hi Phani,
Even I heard that we can use the data page but where actually in the data page rule form we refer to different threads? Since the scope is requester, will it be applicable to all the threads with in the requester scope?
And if the above discussion is true how actually do we refer and map the value of that particular parameter value?

Threads can be considered as like namespaces for enclosing the properties or pages. You could move the needed data to requestor or node scope based on your requirement by using
a) Declare / Data Pages
2) Create a page to be shared and write a reusable function to move it to requestor scope which can be shared across the different threads.

Hi Prasad, Good Morning!
In one of our legacy projects we used custom function and felt declare/data page with a proper logic would be easy to maintain shared data instead of custom function. but again, we are still using custom function only.

You can also look at system pages which are used to share data among different threads.
For your use as Phani suggested you can use Requestor and Node level data pages.
