We have delegated data types into secondary portal. But it was not refreshing the older one
We have delegated data types into secondary portal. If we click on Data type "A", it was getting open and the data is accurate. When I click on Data type "B, C or any one" it was still pointing to the same data type "A". It was not replacing the older data type. Can any one help me on these please

Hi Maruthi,
What version of Pega are you using? There is a hot fix for Pega 7.1.8 that sounds the same as your issue (HFix-27289).

Is this issue is repeating in Pega 7.1.7 as well ? As per your conversation, your saying that there is a hot fix, but i didnt see that in 7.1.8.

Sorry, the hot fix number is HFix-26319. I had the wrong number previously. The hot fix is for Pega 7.1.8. Data types could not be delegated in Pega 7.1.7.

Yes. But it should work in 7.1.8 right. Here the issue is not with the delegation of data types, issue is while trying to open a data type it was pointing to the old one which was opened earlier until and unless we log out and login into pega again.

It should work as in transition between the types correctly in this version after installing the HFIX. Did you already install HFix-26319 and still see the behavior?

The problem is not with the data type delegation. delegation was done successfully but when we try to edit a data type it was not refresh the current one, It was pointing to the earlier one. We have opened data type "A" for the first time. Now I am trying to open data type "B or C", but it was still pointing to data type "A" but not to "B or C". It will work fine if we relogin again every time
