need to download document in read-only mode

Hi

I have configured a docx file on click of a button. It was successful and downloading the file. I need to download PDF or any read-only format. Can any one suggest me please.

You need the file itself to enforce this feature - whether that is through Word, Adobe, Excel or other software where file is created.

You can have the download action itself set the file system property to read only - but anyone with read/write access to the download directory can easily unset this.
