Hotfixes during Pega 7 Upgrade
We're planning upgrade of application from 6.2 SP2 to Pega 7.2.2. As part of planning, we're assessing the hotfixes required for Pega 7.2.2.
One question are existing hotfixes in Pega 6.2 will carry over to Pega 7.2.2.?
Are there any mandatory hotfixes required to be installed and commited in Pega 7.2.2.?
Also in Pega 7.2.2 Upgrade document it was mentioned that Cleanup script would remove old Pega 6.2 rules. Does it remove Pega 6 hotfixes also?

Existing hot fixes will be available in Pega 7.2.2. There are no mandatory hotfixes need to be installed after Pega 7 upgrade.
Cleanup scripts will remove all the Pega 6.2 version rulesets including all the hotfix versions. Pega 7 rulesets are skimmed to 07-10-XX which means Pega 6 hotfix will not come into picture at all.
