Global Search, Kafka stream, Standard agent vs Delayed queue processor difference?
Hi Team,
How does Global search work in Pega?
Does Pega use any elastic search tools for this?
How many columns we can expose maximum in a table, without impacting query performance?
How Pega leveraged Kafka streams, In the personal edition I can see there are some folders(Partitions) getting created for the Queue processors, how it works?
Eg: Which is acting as Publisher, Which is acting as Consumer, Where can we see partitions, Where can we see topics, etc.?
What is the difference between a delayed queue processor and the Standard agent apart from the standard difference like a queue processor uses Kafka streams, as both use the queue mechanism?

Global search in Pega Platform uses Elasticsearch for searching rules, work items, and uploaded documents. Pega supports Elasticsearch as an embedded technology and can also connect to external Elasticsearch instances.
The maximum number of columns you can expose in a table without impacting query performance depends on your database and hardware configuration. It is recommended to expose only the necessary columns to maintain optimal performance.
Pega leverages Kafka streams for Queue Processors.When you create a queue processor, a corresponding topic is created in the Kafka server. The number of partitions is determined by the server.properties file. Queue processors act as consumers, processing messages from the Kafka server. Stream nodes are necessary for queuing messages to the Kafka server. If no stream node is defined in a cluster, the system queues items to the database, and they are processed when a stream node is available.
