Getting Error While Checking In rule. Please find the Error below and let us know the correct remedy for this ?

Error:   CheckIn was unsuccessful. Original Instance does not contain Lock Information. Original Instance Handle : RULE-HTML-SECTION DATA-PORTAL-LXDPAGE TARGETSUPLOAD

This happens when you do a private edit in lowest locked version and trying to check in to current open version when someone else checked in the rule in current version.
