Event Based Notification in PDC

Hi ,

When trying to configure event based notification in PDC , we are unable to get the SECU codes.

The above articles denotes that PDC does not support event based notification for the SECU codes. 

A weekly report is configurable, but what is needed is to get a notification when a spike occurs and based on the event PDC should trigger emails. 

The above link suggest its not possible, however wanted to check if there are any alternate way of doing it.
