Error is thrown when network drive is specified for filesystem repository

I have mapped network drive in remote host as Z drive. In OS level, I have no problem with browsing Z drive using Windows Explorer. However, when I specify the valid path in repository as below, system throws an error in the PegaRULES log.

Repo Error

There was an issue during listing files in the directory. The specified path does not exist or it is not a folder.

 

Why?

You have to create a folder in the Drive and make the folder sharing options with read/write access to everyone . Once the folder is shared , you can provide the folder name with server name in the repository. eg: \\PG00YF6T\ShareThisFolder
