emails send with huge delay

Hi all,

I'm testing the email functionality on a newly installed pega 7.3.1 one node system.

In a casetype start with a very basic email-step just sending an email to a fixed email-address with subject and body "Hello world".

When I create a case I recieve the email overnight where I want it to be send within a few minutes.

I've looked at the agent SendCorr in Pega-ProCom wicht is set to run every 60 seconds which is the unchanged system default just like all settings in Pega-ProCom.

Sending a mail over the smtp-server outside of Pega results in instant delivery.

Anyone any clew what could possibly cause de delay?
