Doing research and have various questions
I am helping with some research on the Pega 7 product and have questions that hopefully someone here can answer. I've spent a fair bit of time looking on this site and these are the questions I haven't found answers to yet:
1 - Does this solution support at least 45,000 simultaneous transactions across the platform? Describe any limitations on the number of simultaneous transactions supported.
2 - Does this solution support single sign-on using Personal Identity Validation (PIV) with FIPS 201 compliant smart IDs?
3 - Does this solution allow for multiple versions of configuration items (e.g., code, business rules, documents, workflows) to coexist and is there a built-in governance process to manage the versioning of configuration items independently, as well as holistically, to enable continuous development, integration, and improvement? Describe how the solution employs configuration management.
4 - Describe the licensing methodology (e.g. named user, concurrent user, CPU-based, total data size). Are development and testing offered at no additional cost? How is licensing handled for disaster recovery, alternate site production, virtualization and high availability? Will the company entertain deviations to the standard license methodology? What support levels are offered for this product? Can support differ based on type of environment (e.g. development/testing, production, backup/disaster recovery)?
