does validate and edit validate rule come under procedural processing or declarative ? or do we need to call validate and edit validate rules explicitly

I think the validate and edit validate rules are procedural processing. These rules get executed based on the configuration that we did. For example, let's say validate rule gets invoked from the flow action or from the activity method (Obj-validate) which is a kind of procedural. The same is applicable for the edit-validate as well where the validation happens if we have configured on the property rule form or from the activity method (Property-Validate).
