In Pega 7, when save or save as any rule, the record context requires/default a application rule name as part of the context. Does anyone know, this application rule name has any impact to run time rule execution? From help, it says the app layser define how your record will be reused, it helps define a record's full context by automatically filtering the list of available options in the Apply to and Add to ruleset fields. Is it only used to filter drop down list of Apply to and Add to ruleset? Really need know if it is used for any other purpose once the rule is saved, especially run time. Thanks!
