### 2. Rule Not Executing at Runtime If the rule is present but not executing, it could be a rule resolution issue.

### 3. Rule Not Opening After Deployment If clicking the rule results in an error or it won’t load, consider these causes:

🔹 **Rule Corruption During Deployment** - If rules were imported manually, they might lack dependencies. - Check Admin Studio → System → Release → Import logs for errors.

🔹 **Cache Issues** - Pega uses cached rules for performance but may not refresh after deployment.

### 4. Check If the Rule is Circumstanced or Withdrawn 🔹 If the rule is circumstanced, a different version may be in use. 🔹 If withdrawn, the rule won’t execute.

** Solution:** - Open Rule Resolution Analyzer (Dev Studio → System → Tools → Rule Resolution Analyzer). - Check whether the rule is circumstanced or withdrawn.

### 5. Check Database Synchronization Issues Sometimes the database may not sync properly after deployment.

**Solution:** - Run this query in the database:   ```sql   SELECT * FROM pr4_rule WHERE pxobjclass = '<Rule Type>' AND pyRuleName = '<Rule Name>';   ```   - If no records are there, the rule did not deploy correctly.   - If the rule exists but doesn't show up in Pega, restart the environment.
