Does Child Case must belong to same class group as Parent ?

How can I create Child Case which belongs to different class group than Parent?

I tried "CreateCase" Smart Shape but it does not give the option of selecting Child Case in the drop down.

Need not be same class group, most of the times child case is instantiated from FW case type.
Define the case type as coverable in the case type rule of parent.
