Can we create Parent and child cases in the same class?
Can we create Parent and child cases in the same class? If we create do we face any issues further. I want to keep split join in parent case if any of child cases completed i have to move forward.when i kept child case in another class, i am not able to use split join.Please suggest "Can we create Parent and child cases in the same class"?

Please find below excerpt from Senior System Architect Course version 7.1 Lesson Case Hierarchy
Derives from (Pattern) — We use this field to change the pattern inheritance chain. Choose the appropriate class from the dropdown maximizes reuse and let’s indicate where we want the rule resolution algorithm to pull the rules from. We can choose the same workpool class as that of the parent, the class of the parent case, the class of a sibling case or a class of any case in the application on which we are working.
To use split join with parent case define the sub case in any of the class which comes in the ancestral tree of Parent class.
