Does Archived work objects ID still remain in Pega database after archiving and purging.
Hi
While Purging/Archiving thru Wizard, we are able to Archive the Work objects. After the Completion of archival Process we are given with a Zip file of the Archived items to import in future if required. Once if imported the Zip file of the archived items we are able to see the archived items in the respective table.
I would like to know ,where the archived work items will reside in the pega tables.Please let me know.

Hi,
After importing archive file you are able to see work objects in respective table, it means these the tables either from the pega rules or Data schema. Again you are asking where the archived work items will reside in the pega tables ? We are not able to understand the question could you please elaborate ?.

Swetha - These archived work items will be stored in the generated zip file which contains the Jar in it. I think it will convert the clipboard pages into some stream version and save in the download jar file, not in any database.
Hi Swetha,
I think you got confused with the Archive and Purge process, Archive process doesn't remove the work objects from the database, it will just archive the Work objects which are resolved into the downloaded Jar file.
Purge will remove the work objects from the database and store them in the downloaded jar file, later they will be restored into database once the downloaded jar file is imported.
