Document Generation - MS office 2016 - Pega 7.1.7

We have recently installed MS office 2016. Since then we are not able to generate any documents. we have pega 7.1.7 and Doc generation was working fine until we moved to office 2016.

When we click document (Application: Profile / Specifications/document) nothing seems to happen. (no error messages).

Thanks Maryrita. Does it mean the only alternative we have is reverting back to office 2013 or updating to PRPC 7.1.9 or higher version  ?
