display checkbox on click of binary property
Hi All,
We have requirment where we need to display checkbox on UI on click of binary property.
In a control we are checking if type of property is decimal then display checkbox on UI
User and select checkbox (true/false) and whatver value he selects ,that would be saved in data base.
Please suggest how to write custom control for same.

Hello,
Can you clarify the exact business need here. Do you have a screen shot maybe? You need to display an extra checkbox on the screen for your users when clicking a binary property?

We have requirement as we are getting true false from service (which is displayed on UI using binary property) , Now if user clicks on that property checkbox should be displayed on pop up and user can change the value to (either true or false ) as per user .

Hi Rajiv,
- IS the value received from the service mapped to a local property ?
- If yes, then it could be directly mapped to a "true / false" type property -- and displayed as a checkbox.
- I am not sure I get -- "user can click the property and a pop-up with a checkbox needs to be shown". The property itself can be displayed as a checkbox and can be made editable.
