Enable button based on checkbox click
Hi I'm a newbie to Pega... How to enable a button (which is already disabled) when a checkbox is checked? and then disable the button again once the checkbox is unchecked? How to perform this with .pySelected property?

Hi @MadhumiM,
Say you have a checkbox property .pySelected
And on the cell properties of button, you can give the condition for disable as
.pySelected="false".
Also add an event "on change" and add an action "refresh this section" on the cell properties of the button.
You will be able to achieve this.

@SakhibHussain Thanks... but my checkboxes are there in each row of a table... the above doesn't work for me actually

@Nadimuthu T Yes the button is placed outside of the table... whenever any of the checkbox is selected the Update button needs to be enabled... when it's not checked then the button should be disabled. Please refer the screenshot

Try to add the refresh section action on the checkbox with the data-transform which sets the flag property to true. Add the disable when condition in the button if the page list that refers in the table contains the value true. You can use the method isInPageList and try to check if it works.

1. Create separate section for the Button and include into main section
2. Create When rule and use IsInPagelist expression to check the any checkbox selected
3. apply the when rule in the disable button condition (Apply when in opposite condition)
4. In the table check box add refresh other section(Button Section) action
