Developer portal rule forms are not properly displayed in IE 8

Applies To, Rule Name, Short Description, rule details (like if property-set in activity is expanded, nothing is shown in the properties name and properties value) of the rule forms are not displayed in IE 8 (8.0.7601.17514) in windows server (2008 R2 Standard), all the activiex plugins are downloaded. Please advise what could be the reason and fix to get these details displayed in the developer portal.

Please let us know the observations with following tests:

  • Login with OOb operator id ([email protected]) and test the behavior for some OOB activities.
  • Do revalidate and save of these rules and then test the behavior
  • Are you using the IE in quirks mode or standards mode? it should be quirks mode for PRPC 5.x

  • Login with OOb operator id ([email protected]) and test the behavior for some OOB activities.
      • Tried, same behavior, rule forms are not displayed properly.
  • Do revalidate and save of these rules and then test the behavior
      • Tried, same behavior, rule forms are not displayed properly... Same rule forms are displaying the complete content in another desktop machine with IE 8.
  • Are you using the IE in quirks mode or standards mode? it should be quirks mode for PRPC 5.x
      • The other machine / internet explorer 8 that displays the rules forms properly is on standards mode, same settings as the internet explorer in the server that is not displaying the rule forms properly.
      • Does the quirks mode depend on a setting in Internet Explorer or the site that is being displayed in the Internet Explorer?
