Design tab of Section rule does not display content and shows the rule as "Opening..."
When I open any Sections with tabbed controls, rules doesn't display any content on the Design tab and getting a blank screen. Any pointers is much appreciated.

Hi,
Is the especially happening with certain sections. Try revalidating those sections. If doing that also does not resolve the issue, you can try deleting cache tables and restarting the environment.

Try the below three options,
1.See if there are any java script console errors, if so please post those errors.
2. Do a private edit of the section which contains tabbed layout and once save the rule. Now reopen the section, if this fixes the issue then issue with rule generation. Now discard the checkout and verify. If issue happens again do a revalidate and save of the section rule which should fix the issue.
3. Check for any tracer errors

What is meant by tabbed controls? Do you mean tabbed layout group? Is it upgraded environment?
Provide the screen shots of the rule.
