Delete item from grid not working
Hi,
Pega 7.1.7
I have configured a repeat grid with following operations. No advanced configuration done.
Every row has a 'Delete' link configured in last column. This link is configured with following actions:
a. Delete item
b. Refresh - Other section (with Activity)
When I add new row and then click on 'Delete' icon, page is getting removed from the page list and even on clipboard I can see page list having correct pages.
But when I submit the flow action, the last deleted row is getting added to page list. If I add 3 rows and delete 3 rows, last deleted row is getting added to page list. When I trace I can see this being done on FinishAssignment activity. In following tracer steps, on step 16 pyWorkPage has correct pages in page list. But on step 17. pyWorkPage has last deleted page in page list.
Is this a known product issue.

1. When you mention that the last row is added back to the list on Submit, do you see a empty stub for the last subscript in the clipboard, or does it have all the row details ?
2. Your described configuration is pretty straightforward, the only user specific action I see is the activity. As a diagnostic, configure the link to do just a delete item. If the issue is still reproducible, file a SR so that we can look into it.

Glad to know that the issue is now resolved. I was planning to test Hfix-23727 yesterday, did not get a chance to.
did you open a SR for this ?

Also , is it Hfix-20694 ? The description on the Hfix does not seem to match the issue you reported ?

Following are the comments from LSA of my project who got this HFIX:
Even though the description is completely different the same rule has been modified. In the engineering item it has been mentioned that the code for this hotfix also fixes the issue reported for the grid issue.

Thanks for looking into this.
1. Yes an empty page with just pxObjClass is getting added.
2. Without activity also (with just delete item and refresh other section actions), facing same issue.
I have configured Add Item link in a separate section which is embedded in Action Top of grid. Will this make any difference?
Are you able to verify if any of the links I have mentioned are related to this and is there any such valid known issue with grids in 7.1.7?
